Start a Custom Carving or Artwork Project

Every project I take on is built one piece at a time — from on-site stump carvings to studio sculptures, hand-carved signage, fine art paintings, and pet portraits. Tell me what you have in mind below and I'll be in touch personally to discuss next steps.

The Process

What to Expect

01

Concept & Reference

You share your vision, photos, and measurements. We discuss what's possible and refine direction together.

02

Design Direction

Free concept and design discussion until we land on a final direction. Up to three rounds of revisions included.

03

Creation

Once a deposit is received, work begins. I share periodic photo updates so you stay connected to the build.

04

Finish & Installation

Final balance is collected upon completion. On-site installs include sealing, finishing, and a walk-through.

Reference Photos & Videos

Upload at least a few clear photos — the more the better. For pets and figures, capture multiple angles in good lighting. For stumps and trees, include the surrounding area and any markings or features that matter. Strong reference equals a stronger final result.

Before You Submit

Every piece I create is built one at a time — no templates, no shortcuts, no production-line work. I take a limited number of commissions each season so I can give every project the time it deserves.

If your project is a pet or figure, I'm carving your dog — not a dog like yours. That requires real reference and real attention. I bring the same standard to every commission, large or small.

After you submit, I'll personally review your details and follow up within a few days to discuss whether your timeline and concept are something I can take on.

How It Works

Pricing, Deposits & Process

Carving Commissions

A 50% deposit is required to schedule and begin the work. A second 25% draw is collected at the midpoint, with the final balance due upon completion. Final delivery, install, or pickup happens once the project is fully paid.

Paintings & Pet Portraits

These are paid in full upfront. Materials are project-specific and the work is fully reserved on my calendar.

Concept & Design Phase

Concept and design discussion is always free. We refine direction together until you're confident in the plan. Up to three rounds of revisions are included before deposit.

Reference & Accuracy

For pets, figures, and any realism-driven work, the quality of reference photos directly affects the final result. I'll always tell you honestly when I need more.

Deposits Are Non-Refundable

Once the deposit is received, I reserve calendar time, source materials, and begin work. Deposits secure that commitment on both sides.

Artistic Fit

Not every project is the right fit for me, and not every artist is the right fit for your project. If I think someone else would serve you better, I'll say so directly.
