If a tree must be taken down, consider giving it new life by preserving part of the trunk for carving into art. Instead of discarding the wood, the remaining trunk can be transformed into a unique sculpture or functional piece that honors the tree's history. This approach not only reduces waste but also creates a lasting tribute that connects nature with creativity. By carving into the trunk, you capture the character and grain of the wood, turning it into a meaningful work that continues to enrich its environment long after the tree has been removed.

I Enjoy the collaboration of client and artist. If you know exactly what you want I can turn your Idea into reality. The design process is fun and i can guide you every step of the way. Start talking and I’ll start sketching and you can make changes until there’s a final design you are excited about! Then I take a chainsaw and attack a tree. Good times.
I love dogs and mine pretty much goes everywhere with me. My Shepherd/Akita rescue I named Hanz finds his way into a good amount of photos and if we work together you’re guaranteed to meet. Don’t worry, he’s the kindest creature I’ve ever met. I enjoy painting and carving ‘pet portraits’. I take tremendous pride in the final stages of finishing often using stain and detail in ways other carvers cannot to capture your companion’s likeness from photos. I guarantee your carving will look like your dog, not just A dog. Any animal, anytime, challenges welcomed.
